Children’s Clothing

Parents, please be advised to send your child in easy, manageable clothing for toilet training and playing. For children who are still on their nappies, please send a required amount of nappies for each day and wet wipes clearly labelled with the child’s name. For all classes we advise a change of clothes to be provided in the child’s school bag in case of any accidents! Due to safety reasons, parents are requested not to send their children in flip flop footwear.

Also, although we provide aprons for craft and painting time, paint does seem to find a way around these protective covers.

Snack Time

The children will have a mid-morning snack at 10am and another time not later that 11:50am. Snack time also varies depends on what age group your child/children is/are in to. Parents are requested to provide a labelled cool bag or box containing a healthy snack such as a small sandwich, fruit, yogurt, crisps and biscuits. Please do not send glass bottles, fizzy drinks, chocolate, sweets, peanuts and junk food i.e chicken nuggets, burgers etc. At Bright Beginnings Nursery, we encourage healthy eating habits.

Nursery tuition fees are due on the first day of each term. Please note that fees are non-refundable and no adjustments will be made to nursery fees due to sickness, holiday or early departures. Health and Safety

In the nursery, we have cots and sleeping areas available for children so they can nap and rest comfortably. On site we have paediatric first aid trained staff and liaise with clinics in the area should an emergency arise.

CLEANING/CLEAN UP: We make sure that our children learns and practice how to put back all the toys they played and other materials in their proper places every after use. In every activity regardless they are playing outdoor or indoor, doing crafts, before and after snack time, children are being trained and taught to clean and wash their hands with soap.

SICKNESS/ILLNESS: Children tends to catch germs easily. We always advice/remind parents not to bring their children in the nursery if they have cough or colds or fever (or a little bit of temperature) or upset tummy or if they don’t feel well in order to avoid children getting sick in the nursery. It is best to let them rest at home and let them be in the nursery once they are fully recovered.

Photographs

From time to time photographs of the children are taken for parties, curriculum purposes or advertising that will be posted on our facebook account (Zarah BrightMuscat). If you do not wish your child to be photographed, please advise the office. Only pictures of children whom parents give the consent to be posted on our facebook account are the ones only uploaded.

School Reports

Your child’s development is our number one priority. To help us and you monitor your child’s progress, termly  Nursery report will be given to all parents at the end of the final term.

Nursery Outings

At the end of each term, we will take our higher class children on a trip to a local area of interest. Trips will also depend upon the lesson plan of their teacher in-charged.  All trips are arranged with the permission of the parents and a small fee is charged for bus rental.
